Isaiah Likely insults Chiefs fan, then sends blunt message to Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes

The Raves lost at Arrowhead Stadium

The Kansas City Chiefs kicked off the 2024 NFL season with a thrilling win, but it was a bitter ending for Isaiah Likely and the Baltimore Ravens. Likely came incredibly close to changing the game’s outcome, catching what seemed to be a last-second touchdown that would have tied the game.

However, after a review, the touchdown was reversed, and the Ravens suffered a 27-20 loss at Arrowhead Stadium.

“You have to live with that call,” Likely said.

“That’s on me. I just have to get both feet in. I harp on myself to catch everything and make sure everybody puts us in the best possibility, so I take responsibility. Next time, I’m going to get my feet down.”

The decision undoubtedly added to the frustration for Likely and the Ravens. Emotions ran high after the game, with Likely reportedly having a heated moment in the tunnel, where he was seen confronting a fan as he left the field.

“F**k you, b***h,” Likely yelled.

Shined on the field

Despite the difficult loss, Likely delivered an impressive performance, finishing the game with 111 receiving yards and a touchdown. His nine receptions on 12 targets stood out, especially with fellow tight end Mike Andrews unable to generate much offense. Likely’s breakout game came against the same Chiefs team that knocked the Ravens out of the AFC championship just months earlier.

Likely, currently in his four-year, $4.16 million contract with Baltimore, will now shift focus to Week 2 as the Ravens prepare to take on the Las Vegas Raiders at home. He will aim to replicate his strong performance and help the team bounce back from a tough opening defeat.
