The dust has settled on Simone Biles’ historic Olympics campaign in Paris, and it’s now time for celebration and reflection.
The superstar gymnast took four medals home from this summer’s Paris games, bouncing back in spectacular fashion from her withdrawal during the Tokyo games that caused quite the uproar.
Biles was one of the shining lights of the Olympics in France, not only succeeding but proving to be a hugely positive influence around the gymnastics events. She got behind teammates and even celebrated the success of her competitors.
Her smile lit up the arena, and now her medals will brighten up her trophy cabinet. This week, Biles posted a picture, posing with her 11 Olympic medals from the games she has competed in.
The most successful US gymnast of all time sat alongside her medals in a white dress with a white backdrop. She captioned the images: “6 year old me would be proud.”
Biles has been here, there and everywhere following her Olympics campaign, and life may now begin to settle down for her, allowing her to enjoy and reflect on her success.
She will also get the chance to watch NFL player and husband Jonathan Owens for the Chicago Bears with Owens having traveled to Paris to watch his wife earlier this summer.

Reflecting on her success at a press conference, Biles has said: “I don’t keep count, I don’t keep stats. I just go out here and do what I’m supposed to and I’m doing what I love and enjoying it, so that’s really all that matters to me.”
She added: “Yes, it’s amazing, now that I hear it, but I don’t think I’ll truly understand the depth of it until I walk away from the sport.”
