In a video posted by him on social media, he seems fully recovered as he is set to reappear with this Saturday, September 14 when his team hosts the Philadelphia Union at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.
He is running, dribbling and kicking the ball in excellent condition and there is no doubt that he has the idea of making a difference for his team on their quest to he playoffs and a potential MLS championship.
The Argentina star has been missed
It has been almost four months since Lionel Messi’s last game with his team in the MLS, as he played on June 1 against St. Louis City and then got injured in the Copa América Final against Colombia.
Things have turned for the better, as this Friday Inter Miami head coach Gerardo Martino, spoke to the media about Messi’s physical condition, and stated that “he is considered for tomorrow’s game.”
Lionel Messi has missed the last nine games with his team, but this time the club has done a good job in the absence of its main star as it has achieved eight wins with only one loss in those games.
