Angie Long emphasized the importance of believing in the long-term potential of women’s sports, despite the history of failed leagues. The stadium’s first game sold out, with $20 room-only tickets reselling for over $100. The team has also seen financial gains from sponsorships and naming rights, and the success of the stadium has led to additional projects, including an $800 million development near Berkley Riverfront Park, they earlier found it difficult to build the stadium but after the overwhelming success, everyone is optimistic about new projects as well. The Kansas City Current, is currently in third place of the National Women’s Soccer League way better than last year where they finish second to last place.

As the new NFL season begins, the Chiefs are focused on securing their third consecutive Super Bowl win. Last season, Mahomes recorded 4,183 passing yards and 27 touchdowns, even in what was his less productive year for him.
